IN MISHA’S WORDS:

The color palette this season includes peach and pink complimented by white and gold embroidery. I drew most of my inspiration from Laxmi lithographs by famed Indian artist Raja Ravi Varma. I found that studying Varma’s work took me on a visual journey of bright colors, with vibrant embellishments, and I tried to recreate that with this collection. Featuring silk, embroidered and embellished with a variety of Indian textile styles ranging from gotiwork to genuine pearls, the collection is bright, airy, and unabashedly feminine in form, structure, and silhouette. Pieces from the collection are just as perfect for a day on the beach in Cannes as they are at the opera in Monaco. Viewers are transported to an Indian fairytale of maharanis and rajs in the look book and the video set to be released 6 February in a see-now, buy-now format with Misha Kaura retail partners around the world. In spite of being ahead of the times, this is the one and only season of see-now, buy-now.
